Pikvaa sells storage per event - 3 GB to 120 GB, for 6 or 12 months - with every important date locked and shown before you pay, and an optional Protected version that keeps a verified second copy of your finals.
Why does Pikvaa charge per event instead of unlimited storage?
Unlimited storage is not sustainable, so Pikvaa never offers it. Each pack is priced from real storage costs, so a small birthday shoot costs ₹99 while a full wedding uses a 40 GB pack at ₹999, both before GST. You pay only for the space and months an event needs.
Four dates, shown up front
Every event shows four dates in IST and the client's local time: the selection deadline, gallery access end, storage expiry and permanent deletion. Packs start on the shoot date (the first day for multi-day events) and include up to 30 days of storage before the shoot.
Standard or Protected
At checkout both options sit side by side with prices visible. Standard keeps one copy of final photos. Protected keeps a verified second copy of finals and clips on a separate provider for the paid period and archive month, with restore within 24 hours.

Restoring during the archive costs ₹99 plus an extension. Extensions cost ₹5 per GB of the pack per month before GST (minimum ₹49).
Pikvaa marks originals as “uploaded and verified”, but it does not back up originals. Keep your memory cards or an independent second copy until you are sure you no longer need them.
Before an upload that won't fit, Pikvaa shows the exact overflow and offers an upgrade or top-up - nothing is half-uploaded. Lite upgrades by paying the full difference; larger packs can add capped top-ups. Details on pricing.
